  Polycrystalline Zinc Sulphide( ZnS )

Polycrystalline zinc sulphide is made from high purity powder of zinc sulphide by hot-press under high temperature in vacuum. It is infrared material with a wide range of transmitting wavelength. It has a high mechanical strength and an excellent machinability for spherical surfaces of different radii of curvature and for plates of different dimensions. It can also be used as a coating material for infrared windows.
